SURFACES | StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas Cash and Prize Giveaways

Multiple Winners of SURFACES | StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2012 Cash and Prizes

(Dallas, Texas) Adding to the synergy and enthusiasm surrounding the recently completed SURFACES | StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas, multiple winners enjoyed receiving random cash and prizes throughout the three-day event. January 24-26 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the beautiful Mandalay Bay Convention Center, the Cash Attack and the Apple-A-Day promotions came to life, adding an undeniable fun factor to attendees’ overall experience.

Whether it be a random education session, a crowd waiting for Chris Grundy’s or Antonio Ballatore’s autographed photo, or a large gathering standing in line at on-site registration, the promotion ran true to its
pre-event campaign – winners could be awarded at “Anytime. Anywhere. Anyone.” A total of 15 attendees randomly won $100 cash or an iPad 2. Jami Battin of Millers of Clafin in Great Bend, Kansas was thrilled to win during her 12noon Wednesday session and said, “This is wonderful and so gratifying to be awarded while simply participating at the show. I’m minding my own business, listening intently to Danny MacNair present his tips and tricks on selling stone, and I win a $100 bucks! What could be better? I’m definitely going shopping!”

An additional $1,000 Big Money giveaway was done daily at 2pm at the Custom Building Products booth. Each attendee was given an entry ticket to drop in one of two hoppers for the daily drawing to choose/contact three finalists. Of the three attendees that won the daily cash, Laurie Goodrich of Goodrich Floor Coverings in Salt Lake City, Utah, was the show’s Thursday Big Money winner. Since the rules state you must be present to win, once she was contacted that her ticket had been drawn as a finalist, she had to rush over from the Tropicana. “My husband and I had just left the show floor and were resting after walking the exhibits for three days. As soon as I got the call, we headed back over to the hall and I’m so glad we did. Winning the $1,000 cash was indeed a surprise to what we felt was already a good experience. We come every year – the last 15 years straight – and wouldn’t miss it,” she said.
