In Celebration of Its 50th Anniversary, WFCA
Opens Its Surfaces Booth to All Show Attendees;
Plans to Give Away $50,000 in Prizes
Anaheim, CA – November 18, 2008 – Members of the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) are very familiar with the benefits of association membership. An award-winning certification program, trade scholarships, issue analysis and exclusive access to industry-leading research on market conditions are just the tip of
the proverbial iceberg. The 50-year old industry group keeps legislative advocates on retainer in Washington DC; runs a member-dedicated website, offering
exclusive research on consumer behavior and other topics; and promotes a highly trafficked public website that educates consumers about floor covering and drives online traffic into retail member locations across the country.
This year, for the first time in history, to expand awareness about member benefits and celebrate its Golden 50th Anniversary, the WFCA is opening its Surfaces
booth and granting free access to all show attendees. As part of the celebration, and in theme with their anniversary year, fifty prizes valued at $1,000 each will be given away to attendees that visit the booth.
Onsite themed kiosks in the booth will further tout the benefits of WFCA membership which, on top of those listed above, include: information about the new
WFCA and Meredith Corporation consumer magazine, Better Homes & Gardens Beautiful Flooring; the extensive consumer ad campaign with the Meredith
family of publications — in its second year running; details on the association’s exclusive insurance program for members only; and inside news on the many
benefits of working with WFCA partner Creating Your Space — a company that designs and builds custom online retail websites for members.
