Industry Shows Strong Support of SURFACES 2009
(Dallas, Texas) In a strong showing of industry support, Oriental Weavers, Monticello International and Tarkett Residential among others will return to SURFACES
after a brief hiatus. This commitment further proves the significance of SURFACES and its importance to the floor covering industry despite the
challenging economy.
“This is great news for SURFACES and the entire industry,” says Dana Teague, Show Director, SURFACES. “The investment by these companies and other
returning companies demonstrates their dedication to their customers, our attendees, and their understanding of the value that SURFACES brings to the industry
when it needs it the most.”
These companies join almost 900 leading manufacturers participating in this year’s event including Anderson Hardwood Floors, Armstrong World Industries,
Beaulieu of America, BR-111 Exotic Hardwood Flooring, Dal-Tile, Dixie Home, Faus Group, Home Legend, Inc., Interceramic, Johnson Premium Hardwood
Flooring, Johnsonite, Kronoswiss, Kronotex USA & Formica Flooring, Mannington Mills, MAPEI Corp., Quick-Step, Royalty Carpet Mills, and US Floors Inc.
among many others. Visit www.Surfaces.com to view a complete list of exhibiting companies.
“There has been erroneous information circulating about some of our key exhibitors not participating in this year’s event. One such false rumor is that Mannington
will not be at the show. They will be there,” assures Dana Teague. “In fact, they have sent a letter to their distributors encouraging them to attend. They will be
there with their entire sales organization and will again feature Jay’s Bargain Basement as well as their new product introductions.”
In addition to the returning veterans to the show, SURFACES will also serve as the official debut for many new companies to the show. More than 80 companies
are brand new to the show and will feature products never seen before. Some of the new companies include: Acrylicon USA, Ambient European Tile, Bayside,
Beckwith Interiors, Blakladder LLC, DuraTile Corp., Imperial Wholesale, Kylin Wood Inc., Mega Tiles Limited and Wedi Corporation. These new companies make
up almost 20,000 square feet of the show floor.
“We’re very excited about all the new companies coming into the show this year,” adds Teague. “As SURFACES continues to bring in these new companies and
their new products, our attendees will continue to find the latest products and technologies that they can’t find anywhere else.”
Another exciting addition to the show floor is the new India Pavilion, Global Expo India. This pavilion will feature 20 exhibiting companies in 2,400 square feet in the International Pavilion located in the upper hall.
