Armstrong Flooring Products Announces Plans for SURFACES 2010

Pennsylvania-based leader in hard surface flooring is working with show sponsor Hanley-Wood to ensure that attendees of Surfaces 2010 experience
Armstrong’s full commitment to the success of its retail partners and determination to continue to earn their trust and their business. According to Kent Clauson,
Marketing General Manager for Armstrong, “Surfaces is an important opportunity for dealers, distributors and manufacturers alike, to get very quick and
concentrated updates on new ideas and best practices – a smart use of time for most flooring professionals. As such, we expect to see most of our customers.
For us, the show will be a showcase of Armstrong’s commitment and investment in best-in-class new products, merchandising and programs aimed at
strengthening competitive advantages for Armstrong dealers. Armstrong has been extremely focused in 2009, with advertising that helps make Armstrong
dealers the first-choice destination for consumers, and with the flooring styles and quality that meet and exceed expectations. This year, that investment
resulted in the introduction of new products like Alterna™, Luxe Plank™ and significant enhancements to our laminate and hardwood offerings. We are not
slowing down in 2010, and our dealers will want to plan for success around the full Armstrong offering. ”

Armstrong will capitalize on the opportunity to ensure that Surfaces 2010 is worthwhile, with an impressive portfolio of programs and products to introduce –
all aimed at helping dealers sell more and improve profitability.  “Customers can expect a meaningful Armstrong experience at the show. We can look forward
to continuing to learn from them and discuss how we can keep on working together to build their business,” said Clauson. “Armstrong has been successful by
helping drive consumers into our retail partners’ showrooms.  And when those shoppers find the right product and value offering in those showrooms, we know it
converts shoppers into buyers. Our commitment to our partners is the motivation behind our participation in Surfaces: it is yet another investment to fuel success
and position us and our retailers for further growth,” said Clauson.
