Armstrong Plans Product Showroom at SURFACES 2009

(Dallas, Texas) Armstrong World Industries will host a Product Showroom at SURFACES 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Armstrong will be located in a Product Showroom which will be open to show attendees February 4th from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. and February 5th from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

“We are pleased to announce that Armstrong will hold public hours during SURFACES where customers can preview new products and merchandising displays
and discuss how we can work together to build their business,” says Paul Murfin, vice president, Sales, Armstrong. 

In addition, Frank J. Ready, Armstrong’s Executive Vice President Armstrong World Industries & CEO Armstrong Floor Products, will sit on a panel of industry executives at SURFACES Opening General Session scheduled for Tuesday, February 3. Mr. Ready joins four of the industry’s most accomplished executives
as they share their insights for future growth, the economical forecast, product trends, challenges to traditional retail channels and more.

Mr. Ready joined Armstrong in 1983 in Building Products Operations Sales and progressed through positions in Marketing before moving to the Company’s flooring business in 1993.  He served in positions of increasing responsibility including senior vice president of Sales and Marketing – Armstrong Floor Products and also briefly managed AFP manufacturing operations.  Mr. Ready also is a member of Board of Directors of the Tropical Forest Foundation, a coalition of industry, conservation and scientific leaders who work together to achieve sustainable management of tropical timber in the major producing regions.
