SURFACES Gains Early Commitments for 2011
DALLAS, TX -- SURFACES 2011 is off to a strong start with 25% of the show floor for next year’s event already confirmed by exhibitors at this year’s show.
These early commitments are an outstanding start to another great event next year.
“Our sales team met with clients at this year’s event and encouraged them to take advantage of the opportunity to reserve their space for next year’s show to get
the best rate and location,” states Amie Gilmore, Show Manager for SURFACES. “The response we got was overwhelmingly positive and signals to us that the
market has turned the corner and is gaining strength.”
The first exhibitor to sign up for next year was Earthwerks™. After their experience at this year’s show, they knew that being at SURFACES 2011 was critical.
“We have exhibited in SURFACES for a more than a decade and have grown our EarthWerks brand substantially over those 10+ years,” states Don Evans,
Executive Vice President of Sales for Earthwerks. “We are very optimistic about the move to Mandalay Bay as a venue for SURFACES both logistically and to showcase the latest in the U.S. flooring market. Plus, the co-location with StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas has the ability to expose many more opportunities
in the marketplace."
SURFACES 2010 gave exhibitors and attendees alike the confidence to move forward after a down economic year in 2009.
BASF Communication Specialist Jill Kelsey recognizes that SURFACES is an important part of their overall brand marketing efforts. They use the show to focus
on building their business for the coming year and beyond.
“SURFACES is the largest show for our target audience in our Flooring Surfaces business,” states Kelsey. “BASF participates every year to take advantage of
the large number of qualified prospects who attend the show. We utilize SURFACES to meet with vendor contacts, customers and targeted customers all in one location."
SURFACES 2011 will co-locate with StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and will be held January 25-27 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas. For more information about the show, visit www.Surfaces.com, call 800.547.3477 or follow us on Twitter.

The WFCA is a recognized leader in marketing research, industry certification programs, and operates the premier consumer flooring web site, www.wfca.org,
