SURFACES typically sees more than 100 members of both the trade and consumer press in attendance and provides them with a state-of-the-art press room where they can meet with exhibitors off the show floor, pick up press kits, draft stories about the show and email them back to their publication for next week's issue via services provided to them in the press room.

SURFACES exhibitors can offer media kits to the press in the press room at no charge. Press kits provide a simple, inexpensive way to promote your company to the media outlets. We recommend shipping approximately 30 press kits directly to your booth to ensure they don't get lost in the convention center. Exhibitors can hand carry their press kits to the Press Room, located in Palm C on Level Three of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. We also recommend that you pick up all remaining kits by no later than 11:00am on the last day of the show as they will be discarded at that time.

Press Preferred Media Kit Format
Based on press feedback, we recommend that you go green and do not provide many printed press kits. Printed materials are difficult for the press to carry onsite and are expensive to ship back to their place of business. Additionally, it causes the press to re-key information about your company vs. copying content electronically to help create content.
