SURFACES 2010 Designer Day

SURFACES 2010 filled the show floor with manufacturers of every floor covering product in every major category from carpet to leather tiles and everything in between. Some of the most innovative and breath-taking products were featured as SURFACES continues to strive to attract both residential and commercial designers as it showcases the abundance of choices consumers have when it comes to building, remodeling or redecorating their homes.

SURFACES 2010 catered specifically to designers with Designer Day. Designer Day offered interior designers accredited education, a behind-the-scenes tour of one of the most extravagant properties in Las Vegas as well as many other exciting activities specifically with designers in mind.

 - Keynote luncheon featured Kim Myles, host of HGTV's Myles of Style
     Attendees listened as Kim shared her unique style and how she finds solutions to some of her toughest
     design challenges.
 - Behind the scenes walking tour of Encore
     Jerry Beale, Vice President Design, Wynn Design and Development, took attendees on an
     up-close and personal tour of one of the most beautiful and newest 5-star hotels in Vegas, Encore.
 - Walking tour of SURFACES
     Mark Woodman, Mark Woodman Design & Color led attendees as they wound their way around
    numerous aisles of the show floor and uncovered some of floor covering's hidden treasures.
 - Education seminars
     Participants were able to select from one morning session and one afternoon and heard from some 
    of the industry's leading experts as they shared their insights on the latest colors and trends in flooring.
