 The American Institute of Architects (AIA)

Hanley Wood is a registered provider with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems.  Most courses have been approved by AIA/CES for continuing education hours. AIA members must sign-in at each approved session at the show and show management will then report credit on their behalf.

American Institute of Building Design (AIBD)

Hanley Wood is an approved CE provider of American Institute of Building Design CE hours. Most courses have been approved by AIBD for Continuing Education Units. Approved courses are given a Continuing Education Unit value based on one (1) credit for each contact hour.  Members are required to obtain eight (8) Continuing Education Units to maintain their professional-level membership status. 

Credits earned on completion are self-reporting. Self-reporting forms will be available at the show and at www.aibd.org.

Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC)

ASID (American Society of Interior Designers)
IDC (Interior Designers of Canada)
IIDA (International Interior Design Association)
 

IDCEC is the organization that serves as a central entity for the sharing of interior design continuing education information, approval, and registration. All courses approved for CEU credit by IDCEC are automatically accepted by ASID, IIDA and IDC. In addition, many regulatory jurisdictions recognize IDCEC approval, in total or in part, for state/provincial CEU requirements related to licensure.

Each approved hour of instruction is granted 0.1 CEU.

Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC):

SURFACES is an Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification approved event for CEC credits, event number 1755. Two (2.0) credits will be assigned to IICRC attendees in the cleaning/restoration or inspector categories.

IICRC attendees must sign-in at any education session or the IICRC booth and show management will then report credit on their behalf.

International Certified Floorcovering Installers (CFI):

Certified installers will receive credit for one educational update for attending SURFACES.  Credits earned on completion are self-reporting. Visit

 null   World Floor Covering Association (WFCA):


All courses offered at SURFACES qualify toward industry certification with the WFCA.  There’s an industry certification designation for every member of the floor covering industry: Certified Flooring Executive (CFE) for owners and managers; Certified Flooring Sales Consultant (CFS) for sales staff; and Certified Flooring Professional (CFP) a business certification for allied industry professionals (e.g. cleaners, installers, and inspectors).

 NKBA   National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA):

Hanley Wood Exhibitions is an official CEU Provider for NKBA. Most courses have been approved for NKBA Continuing Education Units. Credits earned on completion are self-reporting. Visit www.nkba.org for additional information.
     
     

 

Certificates of Completion:

Certificates will be available for download from hanleywoodCONNECT twelve weeks after the show.  Attendees received instructions via e-mail.
